How long ago did you start your blog?
Why did you decide to start a mom blog?
To document my journey and all its experiences for my memories, but also in the hope of sharing my trials, tribulations and testimonies with other Mums going through similar situations..
What was it like in the beginning?
It was nerve wracking to expose our life in the fear of being judged, but I soon got over that knowing that making peace that every parenting journey is different and that our story was unique, as is every other.
How did you come up with the name for your blog?
After using my nickname as our blog name, my blog evolved form only parenting, to lifestyle and home related topics following the launch of my interior design career.
What is unique about your blog?
My blog covers more home related topics like recipes using essential oils, décor tips aswell as the parenting related topics.
How do you market your blog and what has been the most successful way of marketing?
Majority of my blog traffic, comes from my instagam followers- so therefore it my main marketing tool.
How many hours a day do you spend on your blog?
An hour or so.
Can you describe/ outline your typical Day?
Kids school drop, household duties like dishes or laundry, business admin, meetings, or a visit to the riding stables (twice a week), collect kids, play time, bathtime, dinner time, bed time.
Has being a mom blogger affected your family life at all?
Not really. It's been beneficial in meeting a whole world of great Mum’s and their families.
Do you have any advice for a fellow mom wanting to start their own blog?Keep your intentions for your blog pure, and remain committed to its purpose. When writing from your heart, always remain respectful to others and when thinking about growth, remember that consistency is key- and Rome was not built in a day. Through all doubt, do it anyway, because FORTUNE FAVORS THE BRAVE!
